|
Greetings!
One of the ways
that Chris and I continue to move through
our journey of living our passion in
our spiritual and metaphysical work is by
learning to take time out of our busy day to
do something for ourselves. We've been
getting the message for a long time that we
need to do this so that we can begin to
really focus and manifest on new goals and
dreams now that we've achieved our dream of
having a spiritual center.
So.... we're
having to start all over again. Manifesting,
dreaming and figuring out exactly what it is
that we are working towards and wanting to
achieve now. So with that in mind, we've
created a manifesting and meditation
ritual outside while we are in the pool. (We
both love water and nature, so for us this
is the perfect place to create and
manifest.)
One evening,
when were ready to begin our meditation,
Chris looked up and noticed two big,
beautiful dragonflies sitting on opposite
ends of the same tree watching us. It was as
if they were sitting there, waiting to be a
part of our manifesting process. I verbally
made a note that I needed to be
sure and look up dragonflies again to see
their exact energy message and what it means
when they appear in your life.
On our way to
work this morning as we were driving down
the road, a big, beautiful dragonfly quickly
but gracefully dive bombed us as if he were
going to fly straight into our windshield!
Okay. Got it... the reminder to look up
dragonfly!
What I found just about sums it up
perfectly:
Dragonflies
represent the powers of light and
transformation, and the ability to see
through illusion. They bring prosperity and
harmony. The dragonfly totem teaches
skillful action while maintaining a free and
joyful sense of being.
If you've been bombarded by a particular
animal or insect energy lately, don't
ignore it! Go look up its meaning to
find out its message for you. You just
might find it's exactly what you needed
to hear!
We have some exciting news. Chris and I
have expanded the center a bit and
we've moved our offices downstairs. So
that means that Wendy Jones has taken
over our upstairs room and now has her
very own private office for readings and
healings at the center. We're all so
happy for her. Congratulations, Wendy!!
Come and see Wendy and give her a big
hug!
All the practitioners at the center are
working hard at coming up with new ideas
and ways of presenting our services and
workshops to you. Keep an eye out in the
coming weeks as we announce more
exciting happenings. One new service
we'll be debuting soon is our "Spirit
Quest Psychic Hot Line"! Fun, fun!!!

We're also thrilled to now be offering
ongoing Yoga, Tai Chi and Bellydancing
classes in the evenings! Come move your
body, have fun and great side effects
like getting healthy!!

Offered 4
times in August. Choose August 4, 11, 18, or
25th - whichever is most convenient for you.
This course is designed to provide a wide
variety of healthcare professionals, or the
general public, the ability to recognize
several life-threatening emergencies,
provide CPR, use an
AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely
and effective manner. The course is intended
for certified or non-certified, licensed, or
non-licensed healthcare professionals or as
a basic certification CPR course for the
general public.
Students will learn how
to use an automated
external defibrillator
(AED), how to relieve a
victim that is choking,
and how to recognize
emergencies such as
cardiac arrest or stroke
an dhow to respond to
them. This course is
required for anyone
working in the
healthcare provider
setting; hospital,
hospice, home
healthcare, nursing
home, and the like.
If you are
re-certifying, you will
need to bring with you
your old AHA
BLS
card. Without this card,
you will be rescheduled
for an initial
certification.
